Have you ever wondered what your dog’s top speed is? How many rpms does that little engine truly rev up to? Have you ever, hypothetically of course, wanted to know if your dog would smash your friend’s poodle in a race? Now’s your chance! Fast Cat is a dog sport where a dog runs 100 meters. They are led by a lure guided by a small motor and pulleys. The lure often has a plastic bag or anything else that looks fun to chase. The dog is restrained until the lure gets up to speed and then ZOOM! They’re off after it. This is an excellent sport for dogs with a lot of energy. Bring earmuffs just in case your dog breaks the sound barrier.
